Seeing the whole field, not five percent of it

Sector Premium home products, global direct selling, a field of thousands of independent distributors and consultants running in person demonstrations.

The situation

Performance rode almost entirely on the quality of a live sales presentation delivered by a distributed field. Nobody could see whether the approved presentation was actually being followed. A manager could sit in on a handful of demonstrations at most. New consultants took months to ramp, and the technique of the best performers stayed locked in a few heads.

What CAPIO did

We scored the opportunity as high value and high feasibility, the quadrant where the first pilots belong. We built a meeting analyser that records, transcribes and scores presentations against the approved script, with role scoped dashboards for admin, distributor and consultant. We ran it as a controlled pilot with a decision attached rather than an open ended project, then moved it toward enterprise as the evidence held.

The outcome

  • Visibility over the whole field instead of the few demonstrations a manager could observe *actual*
  • Consistent adherence to the approved presentation, measured rather than assumed *representative*
  • Faster consultant ramp, as new starters learned from scored real examples *representative*
  • Top performer patterns codified and taught to the rest of the field *representative*
For the first time I could see what my best people actually do on a call, and teach it.

Why it matters. Managers without AI review only about three percent of sales conversations, and teams that adopt conversation intelligence see fifteen to twenty five percent win rate improvements with new representative ramp cut by up to half. You cannot coach what you cannot see.
